We are proud to announce the new dates for Sad Summer 2021 and are excited for the safe return of live music!

The last 14 months have been quite a rollercoaster, so while it’s impossible to predict what’s next, we feel very optimistic that these new dates will give us more time to allow shows to feel as normal as possible! All of our local partners and venues share in our optimism and believe that this summer will be a magical moment and a return to what we all love so much.

Thank you to everyone who held onto their ticket, we cannot wait to see you. To everyone else, tickets are now back on sale, and we hope you’ll join us!

Our #1 priority at Sad Summer has always been safety, even before the pandemic.  We work very hard to create a safe environment for our fans and take every concern seriously.  This year our focus will be to step up that commitment to the next level. While it’s too early to predict what safety measures may be in place in any given city, please know that we are committed to following the guidelines and recommendations we are given to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.

We can only control what we know, and right now we know that face masks and vaccination are our two best tools against this virus. Therefore, we encourage anyone planning to attend to please consider getting vaccinated if you are able to. In addition, we will be taking extra sanitary measures to make Sad Summer an environment that everyone feels comfortable in.

We will also be offering free face masks to anyone attending the show who wants to use one.  Any formal enforcement of these measures will be handled from state to state in compliance with the local organizers.
